Ron MacDonald, CEO, Zinc8 Energy Solutions discusses how the company’s technology will make an important impact on the environment. Ron MacDonald has over 35 years of both public and private sector experience, including international roles within the Parliament of Canada and partnering with off-grid Indigenous communities and mines to developing renewable energy and energy storage projects. As a CEO of an energy storage company, which is developing and commercializing long-duration, low-cost zinc energy storage systems, his company was excited to receive public support from the U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-NY) to establish a manufacturing facility in New York State.
